Cross Country Trip- Day 5

August 5th

Long day on the road today. I drove from Annapolis, MD to Vienna, VA, and then finally stopped in Columbus, OH.

I stopped in Vienna to see my husbands cousin, his wife, and their little girl. In Egyptian culture, cousins are like brothers and sisters. And both my husband and his cousin are only children, so they were fairly close growing up, considering Kareem lived in California, and Ayman lived in Egypt. It was great to see them again. We saw them over a year ago when Kenzy was only 5 weeks old. Now she is 15 months old, and obviously a totally different person.
